Guest Experience & Community Standards:
Miralon balances resort amenities with residential tranquility. To preserve this experience for all residents and ensure your uninterrupted enjoyment, the City of Palm Springs and Miralon HOA maintain standards we've designed into your stay.
- Quiet Hours: City ordinance strictly prohibits outdoor amplified sound at all times—no outdoor speakers regardless of size. After 10 PM, gatherings should move indoors or maintain conversation-level volume. Mountains amplify sound; voices carry beautifully across the desert at night.
- Occupancy: Maximum 6 adults + 2 children under 12. Daytime guests (10 AM-10 PM) permitted with advance notice. Unregistered overnight guests may result in immediate removal without refund.
- Parking: 4-vehicle maximum, all within driveway (no street parking permitted). Electric vehicle charging available.
- Pets: Subject to advance approval only (breed, age, weight required). If approved, $150 fee applies. Pets must remain leashed outdoors per city ordinance. Dogs may enjoy community dog park. No cats permitted.
- Violations: City citations for noise, occupancy, or parking violations will be deducted from security deposit. Second violations result in immediate removal without refund.
Pool Heating & Aquatic Experience:
Your private pool operates on an on-demand heating system. Understanding desert pool dynamics ensures proper expectations:
- Heating Dynamics: Pools heat approximately 3 degrees per hour. Winter temperatures can drop into the 60s overnight. Optimal heated temperature is low-to-mid 80s. Mid-winter larger pools may struggle to reach mid-80s even with heating.
- Summer Considerations: Late June through early October, pools naturally reach 90-100°F without heating (potentially too warm for comfortable daytime swimming).
- Heating Rates (October-May): Pool heating $100/day (prepaid for entire stay) or $125/day (daily rate). Spa-only heating $40/day (prepaid) or $70/day (daily rate). Fees are non-refundable based on usage. Notify us before arrival if you want pool heated upon check-in.
- Extended Stays (14+ nights): $500 prorated gas/electric utility allowance included. Pool/spa heating requires $2,000 deposit (check mailed 2 weeks prior or wire transfer before use).
- Desert Pool Realities: We partner with the valley's top pool maintenance companies, yet desert conditions (high winds, seasonal boatman bugs in August-September, occasional sandstorms) can transform a pristine pool in minutes. Pool cleaners service 2-3x weekly, but we cannot control weather. These natural occurrences are part of authentic desert living, not grounds for cancellation.
Booking Requirements:
To streamline your experience and satisfy city/HOA registration requirements, please provide within 24 hours of booking:
- Names and email addresses of all adult guests
- Make, model, year, color, license plate for all vehicles (if rental car, notify us and provide details upon arrival)
- Selfie holding your government-issued ID (security protocol)

- Check-In: 4:00 PM | Check-Out: 10:00 AM
- Smoking: Absolutely prohibited indoors and outdoors. Violations start at $500 fine.
- Gas Appliances: Outdoor grill and fire features require careful attention. Ensure valves are completely closed before attempting to open/ignite. If unsure, contact us immediately.
- Housekeeping: Not included but available upon request at guest expense.
- Extended Stays: Rentals exceeding 27 nights may require RentSpree application.
